From the Macknade Traffic Office

CSR Macknade Mill Sainty writes "
Working in the Macknade Traffic Office can be a very demanding position, with so many variables.

However, it can be very rewarding and challenging. With my short time in Traffic I have taken the approach in taking on advice from some of the experienced Drivers, and with that, I have managed to put their advice into practice.

Some movements from my Afternoon Shift yesterday.

1400 hours Crew - Loco 19 (My experienced Driver)

HOBART into Forest Home with 94 empties returning with 96 fulls.
HOBART to VRAFM Scuderis with 100 empties returning with 54 fulls. Roped 54 fulls onto the back of the 113 fulls that were in the Southside Loop and brought them over the Bridge into Yard in one hit. I liked this planned movement of mine, it saved me sending another loco over the bridge to collect the 113.
HOBART to empty circle to count 180 empties for Victoria Transfer and wrap them around the Old Main Line.

1400 hours Crew - Loco 12

16 Light Loco to Halifax and return with 113 fulls and stow them into Southside Loop.
16 to Seymour with 52 empties and return with 95 fulls.
16 to Central Light Loco returning with 138 fulls from the Junction.
16 to pull 20's rake into the Lower Group.
I always ensure that Loco 12 is kept busy....lol

1600 hours Crew - Loco 20 (My experienced Driver)

DARWIN to the Creek with 220 empties returning with 26 fulls. Very light at the Creek at the moment.
DARWIN to River Line with 100 empties returning Light Loco.
DARWIN to Halifax Light Loco returning with 158 fulls.

1600 hours Crew - Loco 11

12 to Central with 100 empties returning with 113 fulls. Fulls left at the Junction.
11 to Cassidys with 180 empties retuning with 138 fulls.

1400 hours Crew - Loco 14

14 to Lucinda with 56 loaded sugar boxes returning with 56 empty boxes.

1800 hours Crew - Loco 20 (My experienced Driver)

20 to Hamleigh, Light Loco and Van to Victoria to collect 134 empties returning to Macknade with 138 fulls.
20 to empty circle to count 178 empties for Halifax and wrap them around the Old Main Line.

Hope you enjoyed my movements.

Empty makes as at 1900 hours were the following:

Empty make for Afternoon Shift was coming in at 20:50 hours.
Empty make for Night Shift was coming in at 02:50 hours.
Empty make for Day Shift was coming in at 12:35 hours.

Zero Hour as at 1900 hours:

Zero hour is at 09:00
Zero hour was coming in at 09:15
